About

Every year the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum hosts its prestigious invitational art exhibit of more than 300 Western paintings and sculpture by the finest contemporary artists in the nation with art seminars, receptions and awards banquet. The exhibiting artists bring a diversity of styles to this prestigious art exhibition. Works range from historical pieces that reflect the early days of the West, to more contemporary and impressionistic works of art. Landscapes, wildlife and illustrative scenes are always highlighted in the exhibition.

The Prix de West is a career booster for participating artists, a memory-making experience for collectors and the largest annual fundraiser for the Museum, which operates without tax-based support and depends on private, corporate and foundation contributions. Perhaps you have attended every one of these events in the Museum’s history or you’ve heard about it and always dreamed of coming. The welcome mat is out for you to participate in, North America’s top Western art happening!

The Museum will accept cash, checks or credit card for art payment. However, buyers choosing to pay by credit card will incur a fee of three percent (3%) of their total invoice. Due to changes in law regarding sales tax, Oklahoma State and local sales tax (8.625%) will be added to the purchase price.
